Introducing Set Libraries for Previs Pro

This free update to Previs Pro includes a new stunning collection of premade environments designed to bring your ideas to life faster than ever before! From the sleek interiors of a modern condo to the bustling streets of New York; from a serene forest trail to the chilly heights of a snow-covered mountain, these sets are ready to immerse your scenes in a world of possibilities.

Where to find it?

Look in the upper right corner of the new scene dialog.

How does it work?

When you add a Set to a Scene it copies all the images and props and lights etc into your Scene. This means once imported the Set is just a collection of objects. This keeps things as flexible as possible, but means you can't "remove" a Set once added; just make a new scene or delete all the objects in that case.

Can I make my own Sets and save them into the Set list?

Stay tuned, we built this with that in mind, so it’ll be coming this Fall. We wanted to gather feedback and make sure everything was final, so any imported Sets maintain future compatibility.

Anything else?

Well,  yes!

There's a new camera button in the upper left, that centers the canvas on each Camera you have in the shot in turn. Helpful for large new Sets.

Added two dozen new character poses, covering a few asked for default poses.

We’ve added about 200 more Light Gobos, you can access them under a Light's horizontal menu that comes up when you tap any spotlight in your scene. They work great for giving your lighting texture.  See this video for a rundown:

That’s the update, hope you had a lovely Summer.  Now get busy, get creative and finish things!

Til next time,
