Storyboarding on your iPad is easy

In the old days, you couldn’t storyboard if you couldn’t draw. But with the iPad, and the right app like Previs Pro, you can create professional-quality storyboards even if you can’t draw.

“I think all shows should be using the PrevisPro setup. It’s an invaluable tool for plotting out your scenes, stage layouts and communicating with your fellow filmmakers. I can’t imagine not using this product and I plan to use it on all of my shows from here on out.” -

Which iPad is best for storyboarding?

Apple is constantly updating its iPad. Each generation of new iPads gets faster, has greater processing capability, and will run your apps smoother. The simple answer is to get the newest iPad you can afford. But that doesn’t mean your current device won’t work for storyboarding your next film.

Previs Pro supports devices up to three years old. If your device has 2GB or less working memory, some graphics-intensive features won’t work as well as a brand-new iPad Pro with 16GB. But you’ll still be able to create set-ready 3-D storyboards.
