Light Grading AI

Light Grading is a powerful tool for high-level visual storytelling. It enables users to apply cinematic lighting presets to their scenes in seconds, elevating the look and feel of storyboards at the concept stage.

Using Light Grading

To use Light Grading you need to be in POST mode (Tap the 🎬 in the upper right corner). Remember Post mode moves you from 3D to a 2D representation of your shot, so only take this step when you're don't with composing your shot. So:
  1. Tap Post Mode. 🎬
  2. Tap the red options button in the lower left.
  3. Tap Apply Light Grade
  4. Make your selection and hit DONE
  5. Tap the bottom text entry bar and add at least a Background prompt, hit SAVE.
  6. Hit the red LIGHT ICON in the lower right to apply the effect. You can hit it up to 10 times to see variations.
  7. When you're happy hit DONE.
  8. Many times there might be small errors, say a second moon in a moonlight grade. For these it can be helpful to use the touch up mode for some quick fixes. (Hit the magic wand from main POST screen to enter Touch Up mode.)
